God of War Ragnarok

I’ve recently started playing God of War Ragnarok. I played the previous God of War, but I’ll admit, I haven’t touched the other entries in the series (I’m mostly a PC gamer, though I do have a Nintendo Switch for the kids).

What really fascinates me is how the game intertwines different mythologies, having them play off or with one another. It’s a unique and engaging aspect that has kept me entertained. The mechanics are solid, though they can feel a bit rinse and repeat at times. Honestly though, I’m here for the story, not so much the gameplay. The graphics are also decent, which helps with the immersion.

I haven’t had much time to dive deep into it, though. Between work, my hobbies, and family, gaming time is a bit limited—but I’ll get there eventually!

Update:

I recently completed God of War Ragnarok, and I have to say—what a ride! If you’re into mythologies like Greek and Norse, this game will definitely keep you hooked. The storyline was top-notch, blending these epic myths into something that felt fresh and captivating. I won’t spoil anything for those still playing, but the twists and turns had me fully invested from start to finish.

That said, the fight battles started to feel a bit tedious toward the end. It’s not exactly button-mashing, but it’s close, and after a while, it can get repetitive. But even with that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend the game. The stunning visuals, intertwined myths, and gripping narrative make it a must-play for fans of action RPGs or anyone who enjoys a good story.

If you haven’t played God of War Ragnarok yet, you’re missing out!
