After years of waiting, Rockstar has finally brought Red Dead Redemption 1 to PC! Following the success of Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC launch back in November 2019, it’s exciting to experience the prequel to RDR2 in a whole new way on the platform. Originally released for consoles in May 2010, RDR1 understandably doesn’t quite match the graphical standards of today, but it’s still playable and filled with that classic Wild West vibe.
I’ve noticed that the controls aren’t as refined as those in RDR2. It might take some getting used to, especially if you’re used to the fluidity of RDR2. But let’s be honest – I came here for the story! RDR2’s storyline was captivating, and I’m hoping RDR1 has the same depth, excitement, and compelling characters that made its sequel unforgettable.
